Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026
This policy explains how MTTrader Pro s.r.o. handles personal information in connection with the website solidfacet.online, which publishes a five-step beginner's course about starting an online PC game. The responsible entity is MTTrader Pro s.r.o., Vlkova 532/8, Žižkov, 130 00 Praha 3, Czech Republic, company registration 24155918, VAT number CZ24155918, reachable at info@solidfacet.online.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, published by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. Those thirteen principles are the clearest available structure, so this policy walks through them one at a time, saying what each means on this site. Several have little application here, and we say so rather than inventing content for them.
This policy covers solidfacet.online and nothing else. The affiliate link at https://price-low.eu/a/73PqKhW7nnIR1Yg, the websites of game publishers, and every Australian government site we link to are operated by other organisations under their own privacy policies, which you should read on their own terms.
APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information
This document is our privacy policy, linked from the footer of every page and readable without identifying yourself. The site is a static set of pages: no content management system holding reader records, no customer database, no staff portal. We collect as little as possible, which is why the list in APP 3 is short.
APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity
Reading this site requires no identification. There is nothing to log into and no name is requested. A pseudonymous email address is acceptable and we will answer it. The one exception is a request for access or correction under APP 12 and APP 13, where we may need enough information to be satisfied the records are yours, because handing someone else's correspondence to the wrong person would be the greater harm.
APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information
Two categories of personal information exist in connection with this site, and there is no third.
(a) Server access logs. Our hosting provider records, for each request to the site, your IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page where your browser sends one, and your browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary web server logging and we do not switch it off, because it is what makes abuse and faults diagnosable.
(b) Email you send us. If you write to info@solidfacet.online, we hold your email address, any name you choose to give, the content of your message and any attachment, together with our reply.
Nothing else is collected. There is no form, no input field, no newsletter, no account, no progress tracking, no quiz, no telephone field and no chat widget anywhere on this site. We set no cookies and use no local storage. We load no analytics, no advertising tags, no web fonts, no content delivery network and no third-party script of any kind, so no profile is built and no cross-site tracking takes place. The pages request nothing from any other server; everything they need is served from solidfacet.online.
APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information
Sometimes a message contains more than we need — a document attached to a correction about one sentence, or details about a third person. Where we did not ask for it and do not need it to answer you, we destroy it as soon as it is lawful and reasonable to do so, and use it for nothing in the meantime.
APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information
This policy is the notification. Logging happens automatically when you request a page, and this section, with APP 3, tells you what is recorded, who holds it, why, and for how long. When you email us, the purpose is to reply to you; the consequence of not giving us an address is simply that we have no way of answering.
APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information
Access logs are used for three things: keeping the site secure, preventing and investigating abuse, and diagnosing faults. Email is used for one thing: replying to you and, where a conversation continues, keeping track of it.
We do not use either category for any other purpose. We never sell, rent, trade or otherwise share personal information for marketing, and we do not disclose it to any game publisher or affiliate network. We will disclose information only where the law requires it — for instance a court order, or a lawful request from an authority with power to compel it — or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
APP 7 — Direct marketing
We do no direct marketing at all. There is no mailing list, no subscription box, no reminder about finishing the course and no promotional email. If you email us, the address is used to answer you and is not added to anything.
APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information
Two recipients exist, both service providers rather than independent users of the information: our hosting provider, which holds the access logs, and our email service provider, which holds the mailbox. We have not been given, and so do not state, a specific country for either; their servers may be located outside Australia. Your IP address and the content of any email you send may therefore be stored or processed outside Australia, under contracts limiting those providers to serving us.
APP 9 — Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers
This principle has no application here. We do not adopt, use or disclose any government-related identifier. We never ask for a tax file number, Medicare number, driver licence number, passport number or any similar identifier, and there is no field anywhere on this site in which one could be entered.
APP 10 — Quality of personal information
The information we hold is either automatically recorded by a web server or supplied by you in your own words, so questions of accuracy mostly do not arise. If something we hold about you is wrong, out of date or incomplete, tell us and we will correct it; see APP 13.
APP 11 — Security of personal information, and how long we keep it
The site is served over HTTPS. There is no database behind it and no stored submissions, because nothing is submitted. The hosting account and the mailbox are accessible only to people working for MTTrader Pro s.r.o. We claim no security certification or standard, because we have not been audited against one.
Retention is specific to each category:
- Server access logs: 30 days, after which they are deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course by our hosting provider.
- Email correspondence: 24 months after the last message in the conversation, then deleted — unless a message is needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim, in which case it is kept until that matter is finished.
APP 12 — Access to personal information
You may ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you. Email info@solidfacet.online with Privacy request in the subject line. There is no charge for making a request, and we will respond within 30 days. Bear in mind that access logs are kept for 30 days and are not indexed by person, so if you are asking about your own visits, the practical answer is usually that nothing identifiable remains.
APP 13 — Correction of personal information
If information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, ask us to correct it using the same address and the same subject line. We will correct it or explain, in writing, why we have not.
Affiliate links and what happens when you follow one
Some pages of the course link to the website of War Thunder. When you select one of those links you leave solidfacet.online, and this policy stops applying to what happens next. The destination site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the visit came from us, which is how a commission is attributed; that processing is theirs, governed by their own policies, and we have no control over it.
What reaches us afterwards is a commission report containing counts and amounts, used only to reconcile payments. We do not ask the network for information identifying individual readers, we receive no name, email address or account details from any publisher, and we could not connect a report to a particular visitor.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled personal information, write to info@solidfacet.online with Privacy complaint in the subject line. We will acknowledge it, investigate, and answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner through its complaints process at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
Data breaches
If we become aware of unauthorised access to, or loss of, personal information connected with this site, we assess what has happened promptly. Where serious harm to anyone is likely, we notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and we say what we know, what we are doing and what you can do.
Children
This site is not directed at people under 16. The course deals with spending limits, household agreements and account security, which are adult decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children and we hold nothing that would identify a reader's age, because nothing on the site asks for it.
European Union and United Kingdom readers
MTTrader Pro s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so European data protection law also applies to our handling of personal information. Our legal bases are straightforward: for server access logs, our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure, available and free of abuse; for email, the handling of the enquiry you have chosen to send us, which also serves our legitimate interest in answering readers. We rely on consent for nothing, because we set no cookies and run no tracking, so there is no consent to collect and no consent to withdraw.
Where the law gives them to you, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, exercisable at info@solidfacet.online. Our supervisory authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz, and you may lodge a complaint with it, or with the authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
When we revise this policy we update the effective date at the top. If a change is material — a new category of information, a new recipient, a different retention period — we flag it in a short note at the top of this page and leave the note there for 30 days, so that a returning reader can see that something has changed without comparing versions.
